Welcome to the new website of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Provinical Grand Stewards Chapter, No.9263. The Royal Arch being an integral part of Pure Antient Freemasonry, the Chapter was consecrated in 1996; at the instigation of the then Grand Superintendent, the Rev. Dr. Michael Morgan; in order to complement the Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge.
Membership is open to all Royal Arch Masons, who have held the rank of Provincial Grand Steward and all such Companions are encouraged to join the Chapter. Such appointments are only allocated to those, who have demonstrated outstanding ability. It enables them to further develop their Masonic knowledge and demonstrate their commitment to the Order, prior to their promotion to more senior rank. This website demonstrates Freemasonry’s commitment to openness and I hope will bring the Chapter to a wider audience and lead to a greater understanding of its activities. Roger H.
